warranty Terms
TERMS OF SALE AND WARRANTY INFORMATION
- All claims must be accompanied by original invoice.
- Seller is not responsible for buyer error.
- 30 days warranty, unless otherwise stated on invoice.
- If, within warranty, a mechanical part proves defective, seller will, within a reasonable period of time, replace the part or a refund check will be given at the seller’s discretion.
- No warranty or reimbursement on labor under any circumstance.
- No warranty on seals, gaskets, fluids, or coolant.
- Warranty voided on any parts that have been disassembled, altered, damaged, or overheated.
- Warranty voided on any accidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to labor, installation, removal or use of parts.
- Glass, body, smog equipment, and electrical are not warranted.
- Airbags must be installed and inspected by a factory trained and certified technician. Desert Truck & Auto Parts will assume NO liability or warranty related to this air bag or its components. Any recycled air bag that is not installed correctly will subject passengers in a vehicle to serious injury, including death. The purchaser of a recycled air bag assumes all risks of damages and injuries, including death, which may arise as a result of improper installation.
- Unless stated otherwise on the face of this receipt, no other warranty is made or implied.
- No warranty or returns on parts costing $10 or less.
- Desert Truck & Auto Parts makes no claim as to the suitability of any part not intended for its original purpose. Buyer is responsible for determining suitability of parts purchased for purposes other than manufacturer’s intended use.
- Desert Truck & Auto Parts is not responsible for extra labor costs or any expenses related to or arising from the malfunction of parts sold. It is the buyer’s responsibility to assure that the parts purchased are properly installed.
- Core is due within 14 days from date of invoice or warranty is void.
- $25 service charge on returned checks.
SPECIAL ORDER POLICIES
- A 50% deposit is required for all special orders.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Parts and deposits left over 14 days shall be forfeited.
- Desert Truck and Auto Parts is not responsible for delays in UPS or freight shipments. Freight delivery is beyond the seller’s control.
- All conditions listed under terms of sale (above) apply.
REFUNDS
- No refunds on special order parts.
- All returns must be accompanied by original invoice.
- All checks have a 14 business day waiting period before refund will be issued.
- A 25% restocking fee may apply to returnable parts.
- No refunds on non-warranted or out of warranty parts (see above terms).
Desert Truck & Auto Parts will make contact with buyer through phone number given by buyer. If buyer gives an incorrect phone number, a number no longer in service, has a voicemail box full, or does not check their voicemail, Desert Truck & Auto Parts is not responsible for the delay this causes in buyer obtaining their part(s).
